With another successful year drawing to a close at Amey Plastics, we’re always looking for ways to improve our services and thus we’re extremely pleased to announce that we have recently added a state-of the-art Sonderhoff gasketing machine to our workshop. The new machine will massively expand our current gasketing services; to provide customers in the marine, lighting, electronics & promotional industries with high quality, custom gaskets.
Using our newly-purchased CNC Robot, intricate paths can be followed around any moulding in a 2D or 3D plane, to produce high-quality gaskets. Our new machine allows us to meet a number of different size demands – from large gaskets for the automotive and rail industry, to smaller, specialist, pharmaceutical-grade parts for the medical industry.
The Sonderhoff Solution 3 machine also features:
Fast cure foam seals for indoor and outdoor applications
High flame retardance according to fire safety standard UL 94 HF-1
Elastic recovery of 95%, tested in accordance with DIN EN 1856
Excellent adhesion to powder coatings
