Established over 30 years ago in the Hampshire town of Petersfield, Amey Plastics has earned itself an enviable reputation as a leading moulding and tool making company with customers across the UK. Amey Plastics was acquired by brothers Ken and Philip Scott in August 2010.
The Scott brothers started their first company in 1980, manufacturing specialist tools for the servicing of electro mechanical office machinery. With larger volumes to contend with, some items were tooled and moulded in plastic, which led to the company becoming a plastic injection moulder, supplying a range of industry sectors. Orders ranged from polycarbonate bases and diffusers for the lighting industry to terminal blocks and plugs for the electrical industry and even descant recorders for schools!
Over the years, the Scott brothers have sourced, developed and produced their own product items which include their own recorders and lunchboxes for schools, football lampshades, inspection lamps and low voltage, radiant fluorescent lights used for commercial vehicles and the marine industry.
Amey Plastics now produces these items as well as products for companies across a wide range of industries and prides itself on its reputation for professionalism, organisation, experience and the highest standards.
